About the role Leads team of intermediate to experienced Accounting professionals, setting objectives and guiding others on execution of general accounting processes, such as inter-company cash, cash management, government accounting, financial reporting, project accounting, and / or balance sheet management. Develops and explains accounting procedures, and control processes. Key Responsibilities: Manage and report on specific RTR activities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis • Manage and report on specific controls activities including support of internal and external audit activities • Execute RTR projects encompassing process enhancements to streamline activity and deliver best practices for RTR • Ability to communicate and influence key internal and external business partners • Manages accounting and controls for specific Carrier RTR activities • Ensure accurate and timely financial results, monthly closing and compliance activities • Confirms procedures and controls are in alignment with US GAAP reporting requirements and corporate policies • Manages and reports on activities to include critical RTR activities around balance sheet and reconciliation • Manage and lead a team of skilled accountants Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or related field A minimum of 12 years of experience in accounting, including prior management level experience.
