Warsaw-based opportunity with the possibility to work 100% remotely!
As a Ruby Developer you will be working for our client, a leading retailer. They are currently developing a proprietary tool designed to significantly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their claims management department. This project offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a product that directly impacts the daily work of a team, streamlining processes and improving overall quality of life within the department. You will be involved in all phases of development, from design and implementation to testing and deployment, utilizing the latest Ruby versions and collaborating with a team of experienced professionals.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: WRITE CLEAN, EFFICIENT, AND WELL-DOCUMENTED RUBY CODE

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Ruby code
• Collaborate with the team on architectural decisions
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality
• Implement unit and integration tests to ensure application stability
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes
• Work with databases, including potential experience with MongoDB
• Deploy and maintain applications within a cloud environment, preferably Google Cloud

YOU’RE IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

• Proven experience as a Ruby Developer
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Familiarity with the latest versions of Ruby
• Experience with database technologies, particularly MongoDB
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally Google Cloud
• Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
