RUBY ON RAILS DEVELOPER (MID–SENIOR) – HYBRID IN SYDNEY

Salary: $120,000-$130,000 + super

RecycleSmart is on a mission to make recycling easy, accessible, and impactful - and we’re looking for a mid to senior-level Ruby on Rails Developer to help us build the future of waste management tech. We’ve already diverted 1.5 million kg of waste from landfill and saved over 1,000 tonnes of CO₂ - and we’re just getting started. We’re using AI in everything we do such as making it easy to identify items for recycling using visual models and optimising our driver routes. Come use the latest tech to make the coolest features.

• Work across our full stack (Ruby on Rails + React + Postgres) to build scalable features for our customer and ops platforms
• Collaborate with a small but mighty product team in a fast-paced startup environment
• Own projects from concept to deployment, including testing and monitoring
• Help us make better use of AI tools in engineering and ops workflows
• Contribute to architecture and technical decisions as we scale
