Description
This role is part of our Juicer team, one of our growing brands at saas.group. Juicer is a powerful social media aggregator that combines a brand’s posts and hashtags into a single, visually appealing feed for its website. Seamlessly integrating with major platforms, Juicer enables easy content import, customization, and moderation, delivering an engaging social media experience for audiences. Profile Overview As our next Ruby on Rails Engineer, you’ll join a small, senior, fully-remote team shipping fast and owning real product slices. Expect a supportive mentor rotation (you’ll pair with different senior engineers month-to-month) and a light support engineer rotation that keeps you close to customers and real impact. We’re looking for a curious and hands-on developer who is eager to make an impact and grow in a fun, collaborative environment. Your immediate impact in the first 3-6 months will be: Ship your first small tasks (small features, simple integrations, bug fixes), learn our codebase/tools, and get into our delivery rhythm. Own small features & operational improvements; participate in the first-responder rotation with guidance; raise PR quality and test coverage. Operate more independently on features, improve performance where it matters, and contribute to reliability (Sidekiq jobs, caching, guardrails). Your responsibilities Build and maintain Rails features end-to-end, including tests. Integrate third-party APIsl ike Meta, Google, Stripe, Hubspot and others, manage webhooks, and handle data imports to AWS S3/PostgreSQL. Participate in the support engineer rotation to support CS and squash production issues. Collaborate with design, PM, and marketing on scoped tickets; review PRs. Deploy and operate our app on Heroku and keep an eye on performance. Learn & share continuously through our mentor rotation (receive mentorship first; later, pay it forward). What You bring to the table 1+ years of experience in Ruby & Ruby on Rails building production apps preferably in a SaaS environment. Familiarity with JavaScript. Comfort with SQL/PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, and writing maintainable, tested code. Git fluency, code reviews, and remote collaboration skills; clear written English. Strong builder’s mindset: curious, pragmatic, and motivated to learn. Clear written communication (async-friendly) and a proactive, ownership-focused approach in a remote team. Healthy use of AI tools to accelerate work, while understanding what you’re shipping and why. What’s in it for You Ultimate flexibility: We’re 100% remote. You can work from wherever you like, whenever you like. Freedom and autonomy: We’re a high-trust team, and you’ll be given lots of flexibility to solve problems in your own way — with plenty of help from the team when you need it. Minimum bureaucracy: We don’t like to get bogged down with meetings and red tape. We like to be efficient and keep momentum steady & sustainable. Small & friendly team: We help each other out, have fun, and joke around. Our network: We are a community of entrepreneurial SaaS professionals that regularly exchange ideas, knowledge, learning and expertise with each other internally. Flexible time off: We want you to recharge your batteries when needed. Juicer is part of saas.group and we have a shared goal of succeeding together. What is saas.group?
