Involvement in architecting, developing, reviewing, and testing of new features for internal and client-based projects Primary focus on our main application developed using Ruby on Rails and VueJS / NodeJS Interaction with clients as part of the development team where necessary Option to attend team-building events and develop solid working relationships with your colleagues Flexible work environment paired with your responsibility to clearly understand deadlines and quality of deliverables. Qualifications At least 5+ Years of Experience with Ruby / Ruby on Rail 5+ Years with front-end technologies (VueJs/React/Angular 2+ - Typescript preferred) Experience with Linux Experience with RDBMS (Postgresql preferred) Experience with Asynchronous Job Processing (Redis, Delayed Job etc) Exceptional understanding of the basics of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 Proficient with distributed source control systems like Git, Mercurial Highly desired: Keen eye for UI/UX design Experience with performance debugging and benchmarking Experience with other languages and web frameworks such as django (Python), (Spring Framework) Java, Sinatra (Ruby) Experience with RSpec, Rack Middleware and custom Gems Some understanding of DevOps practices with a willingness to get your hands dirty with day to day devops.
