This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 6 years Location: Gurugram JobType: full-time We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join our dynamic and fast-paced development team. You will play a key role in designing and building high-performance, scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, and Python. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup culture that encourages innovation, ownership, and creativity. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement high-quality features and functionalities using Ruby on Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, and Python. Conduct code reviews, write automated tests, and support CI/CD pipelines to ensure code quality and reliability. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver an outstanding user experience. Contribute to system architecture and design, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. Mentor junior developers, manage team deliverables, and lead development efforts as needed. Follow Agile methodologies and participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. Required Skills & Qualifications: 6+ years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails development. Proficiency in PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases. Strong experience with Python and integrating it within backend systems. Expertise in designing application architecture and scalable systems. Solid experience with CI/CD tools and processes. Familiarity with Agile development practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively within a team and across departments. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
