KNOWLEDGE

• Practical knowledge/work experience of ruminant production systems
• Expertise in amino acid formulation for ruminants
• Experience in selling technical product or process
• Thorough knowledge of the ruminant nutrition business in territory
• Professional knowledge of amino acid balancing and at least one formulation software for ruminants (INRA, DVE, CNCPS, NRC, customer company software, etc.)

SKILLS

• Fluency in Italian and English language (both speaking and writing). Knowledge of any additional language is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Work in matrix organization and network
• Ability to work independently and be results driven
• Ability to work well in both a team environment and autonomously
• Strong organizational skills
• Advanced computer skills, comfortable with using statistical packages such as SAS
• Advanced user of MS Office tools like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

EDUCATION

• Ph. D. or Master’s Degree in Dairy Science, Metabolism, Physiology or related subject

• Provide technical support to feed customers or prescribers to develop sales of the Ruminant Product Portfolio in coordination with Ruminant Technical Sales Managers
• Be an expert in amino acid formulation for Ruminants
• Contribute to technical positioning of products and to technical marketing documents
• Make presentations at professional and customer conferences and contribute to writing technical articles for the popular press
• Manage field trials, some directly and some in support of TSMs
• Keep Ruminant Director abreast of relevant scientific information impacting the market
