Description

Acadian Ambulance Services, Inc., has an immediate opening for a full-time Runner in Houma, LA. The schedule of this position is predicted to be flexible with occasional weekend shifts. Duties include but are not limited to: * Deliver and pick up company vehicles as requested to assist fleet maintenance with the performance of preventative maintenance or repairs. * Pick up and deliver vehicle parts and supplies. * Review equipment on ambulance and complete equipment checklists. * Stock ambulances with equipment, to include stretchers, oxygen bottles and other items which could weigh over 50 lbs. * Wash company vehicles. * Re-fuel company vehicles. * Assist with shop maintenance—this includes, but is not limited to, sweeping, trash disposal, organizing supplies. * Work with supervisors and crew members to coordinate the transference of vehicles to and from the vehicle maintenance shop. * Perform all other duties as requested by supervision.
