Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the trolley Harvesters in supplying empty trays for mushrooms and removing full trays to the hallway in an efficient manner
• Ensure that growing rooms are prepared with supplies prior to harvest starting throughout the day
• Clean the floors and remove unused materials from growing rooms once the harvest is complete for the day in a growing room
• Set up mushrooms houses with proper supplies and equipment for Harvesters
• Carry mushrooms to the front of the houses
• Stacking mushrooms on skids
• Assists the Harvest Supervisors in promoting a clean and safe working environment and in the control of the spread of disease
• Adheres to Safety Policies, uses proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment
• As reasonably requested in aid of operations or culture compliance, performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada with no restrictions.
• Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure or tight deadlines
• Able to stand and lift, use hands, eyes and legs
• Positive attitude and great attendance record
• Flexible to change and a willingness to do a good job each day
