Description

Southwest Dermatology & Vein is looking to add a registered vascular technologist to our team! We are a dermatology and vein practice focused on superficial venous problems including venous insufficiency, stasis dermatitis and venous ulceration. While experience is a plus, new graduates and those with limited venous experience are welcome to apply. Certification as an RVT and/or RVS is required for this position. Job duties include ultrasound scanning for venous insufficiency, DVTs, pre-operative marking and injection guidance for endovenous chemical ablations, assisting with laser ablations and helping room and perform initial screening questions of patients presenting for vein evaluation. Training is available for all of these job duties. Important attributes of a successful candidate include a positive attitude, attention to detail, ability to function independently, work well with other team members, and a strong work ethic. This RVT position is a part-time position (currently Weds 12:45 - 5 PM and Thursday 7:45 AM - 5 PM) in our South Austin location. If interested, our Dripping Springs office may have 8-12 additional hours available as well. If a full time position with benefits is desired, the applicant also has the option to work as a Dermatology Medical Assistant at Medical Assistant rates during non-RVT hours (5 days a week). Our office hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, and the primary location and all work are currently at our South Austin location - 4419 Frontier Trl Ste 110, Austin TX 78745. The Dripping Springs location is at 249 Sportsplex Dr. Dripping Springs, TX 78620. There is no call, nights nor weekends expected with this position.
