Seaborne Shipbrokers S.A. is a leading provider of client-focused Shipbroking services based in Athens, Greece, offering expertise in Sale & Purchase, Newbuildings Contracting, Chartering, Financial Advisory, Research, and Valuations to Shipowners, Private and Public Equity investors, and Credit Institutions. We are seeking an S&P Assistant to support our Sale & Purchase team in day-to-day operations and post-fixture activities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a passion for the maritime industry. Responsibilities Provide daily administrative and operational support to the S&P (Sale & Purchase) brokers, including preparing and managing relevant documentation Coordinate post-fixture activities with proactiveness with regard to timely payments, document accuracy, and contractual compliance Facilitate communication with shipowners, brokers, colleagues in other company offices, and external parties to ensure smooth S&P operations and promptly resolve any issues Maintain accurate records by logging and updating S&P data in company databases and systems, including vessel details and other pertinent information Conduct research on vessels, markets, and industry trends to support the S&P team’s decision-making Collaborate with team members to promote a cohesive working environment and actively contribute to shared success Undertake additional administrative tasks as requested to assist S&P brokers and meet evolving business needs Strong proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in MS Office Drive and self-motivation, with the desire and commitment to succeed, deliver excellence, and create positive change Resilience, demonstrating the ability to persist and adapt Effective relationship-building, with excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to establish rapport quickly Collaborative mindset, able to work well with others, share information, develop skills, and achieve results High focus on accuracy and attention to detail Strong organizational skills Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities Strong communication skills, combined with a willingness to learn Confidence and ability to work well under pressure Upholding professional integrity and demonstrating respect for the company’s core values Opportunities for professional growth and development Friendly, collaborative, and supportive working environment Modern office facilities and equipment
