S2526-13 EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT - LAC LA BICHE OUTREACH SCHOOL

We are seeking a part-time (0.5 FTE) Educational Assistant commencing at the start of the 2025-2026 school year. The assignment involves assisting with student educational program needs including social skills, behavior skills, self-help. Training in speech, language and numeracy strategies will be a definite asset.
Northern Lights Public Schools Outreach Programs offer an alternative learning environment for students including art, career and technology courses. We deliver highly individualized programs to students in grades 10 to 12 using a holistic approach to education by considering the student’s total needs through counseling, recreating, living skills and work projects.

TRAINING AND SKILLS THAT WOULD BE AN ASSET INCLUDE:

  • Relative experience in educational assistance, nursing, and/or rehabilitation
  • SIVA and/or Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training
