Job description
An exciting opportunity is available to be part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment within the Resource Management unit for a 12-month fixed term contract.
Your role will be to create and maintain operational duty rosters for Police Officers and Police Staff ensuring sufficient Force resilience is maintained, ensuring the right resources are in the right place at the right time to maintain operational service delivery at the required levels.
You will also support with the planning of staff for force operations and events across Cheshire. You should be able to work in a methodical and organised manner, process and analyse information and proactively identify potential issues and propose solutions, with good attention to detail and accuracy
Candidates must be able to develop strong working relationships inside and outside of the team with colleagues at all levels to provide support and maximise performance.
The ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritise tasks and work on your own initiative is key to this role along with demonstrating resilience with the confidence to challenge and influence colleagues at all levels.
Whilst full training will be provided to the successful candidate. Some experience of administration, planning resources or rosters would be an advantage along with good customer service skills.
