Job description
FIB currently has an opportunity for an individual to join the Intelligence Research Team to provide research and support within the Serious Acquisitive Crime thematic area. The role requires the researcher to produce well structured and detailed daily briefing documents.
The role requires a close working relationship with other research team members and analysts within the department. The role also requires a close working relationship with colleagues in neighbouring forces, partner agencies and the Regional Organised Crime Unit.
The role requires an individual who has a high level of motivation and who is able to self generate research.
The post will be based at HQ and will incur shift allowance, working Monday to Friday days, with a pre 7am start.
Central researchers are required to obtain and assess information from various sources including PNC, PND, Niche and Open Source research.
