Description
Roles & responsibilities Lead and execute application and platform support across Azure and/or GCP, ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available environments. Monitor & Support Azure services using CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). Working knowledge of Azure Application Insights and other monitoring tools is an added advantage. Familiarity with application deployments using DevOps pipelines. Manage deployment‑related networking configurations, including load balancers, DNS, firewalls, and traffic routing to ensure availability and security. Support deployment and operational management of data platforms such as Synapse, Data Factory, Kql, Cloud SQL, Dataproc, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Data Lakes. Monitor production environments using native and third‑party tools; respond to alerts, incidents, and escalations as part of a 24x7 on‑call rotation. Hands-on experience across the full project life cycle, including planning, application implementation, and creation of support and operational procedures. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels. Proven capability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and foster high‑performing teams in a customer‑focused, collaborative environment. Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem‑solving, independent decision‑making, and relationship‑building skills to support a service‑driven and teamwork‑oriented culture. Drive cost optimization and performance tuning related to deployed workloads. Mentor junior engineers in deployment best practices, operational readiness, and incident handling. Continuously improve deployment automation, release efficiency, and platform reliability by adopting modern DevOps practices and tools. Exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) tools and services is a plus, with the ability to integrate them into cloud-native workflows.
