Description:

Chartwell is 8 chair treatment unit delivering SACT and supportive treatments to patients with Haematological disorders. Chartwell works along side Lord North ward, an 18 bedded inpatient Haematology ward.
This post will be a rotational post between both units, working a combination of long days, nights and weekends.
Applicants should be highly motivated, enthusiastic and pro-active. The post holder will work as part of the nursing team in supporting the ward manager to run an effective and safe ward. Lord North and Chartwell treat patients throughout their treatment pathway providing individualised, compassionate and informed care.

You should be able to combine autonomy with team working sensitivity and professionalism.
You will be expected to adopt a holistic, pro-active and dynamic approach, being responsible for the delivery of a high standard of care and service to the patients. You will in association with your colleagues be required to support patients and their carers on all aspects of their care, be they newly diagnosed, or being treated with palliative intent.
