Company Description Nestled along the sweeping banks of the majestic Kafue River, Anantara Kafue River Lodge invites you to be part of an extraordinary safari destination set in one of Africa’s last truly untouched wilderness regions. Our camp is seeking three experienced Safari Rangers to deliver exceptional guest experiences and uphold the highest standards of safety and wildlife interpretation. Job Description Conduct safe, informative and engaging game drives and walking safaris for guests Deliver exceptional guest experiences with strong interpretation skills and wildlife knowledge Monitor wildlife activity, report sightings, and contribute to conservation efforts Uphold safety standards in accordance with national park and camp protocols Assist with conservation and ecosystem monitoring activities Maintain ranger equipment and vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety Provide detailed briefings to guests on safari etiquette and safety procedures Collaborate with camp staff to ensure seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of local flora, fauna, and ecosystems Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance guiding skills Manage guest expectations and handle any concerns or special requests professionally Contribute to the camp's sustainability initiatives and minimise environmental impact Assist in wildlife research projects and data collection when required Liaise with local communities to support conservation efforts and cultural understanding Maintain accurate records of game drives, wildlife sightings, and guest feedback Qualifications Bedrock Africa TEVETA‑Accredited Safari Guide Training TEVETA Level I Trade Certificate in Wildlife Safari Driving Guide, covering guiding principles, first aid, natural history, vehicle mechanics, radio communication & more Zambia Tour Guide License 2–3 years professional guiding experience Strong wildlife knowledge and tracking skills Excellent guest engagement and communication Wilderness first aid certifications (advantage) Professional Driving license Additional Information Personal Attributes Calm under pressure, safety-driven Strong situational awareness Passion for conservation Confident, personable, and professional Company Location: Anantara Kafue River Tented Camp
