BUSINESS PROCESS SUBJECT MATTER SPECIALIST – SAFe Business Coach Overview: KeenLogic is seeking a Business Process Subject Matter Specialist. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Fort Belvoir, VA, with core hours from 8:00 AM-6:00 PM, Monday–Friday. This role supports DLA’s Strategic Capabilities and Processes (SCAP) Directorate by providing subject matter expertise in acquisition, IT, cyber assurance, engineering, and program support services. The work is focused on helping the CIO/PEO manage IT capabilities across the full system development lifecycle, improve enterprise capability management processes, support modernization and rationalization efforts, and drive collaboration, user adoption, and continuous process improvement. The scope also includes Agile/SAFe program support, strategic communications, business and budget analysis, technical documentation, risk and schedule management, SharePoint/ServiceNow support, and transition planning, with specific deliverables and priorities defined at the task-order level. Description: Provides technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation. Participates as needed in all phases of software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases. Required Experience: Active Secret clearance or currently work with the DLA Five (5) years relevant experience Must have experience with Acquisition process and its milestones; and have experience in analyzing a variety of source documentation and supporting the creation of acquisition documentation. Acquisition Documentation refers specifically to documents created in compliance with the guidelines and requirements outlined in the following Department of Defense Instructions (DODI) publications: DoDI 5000.87 - Operation of the Software Acquisition Pathway DODI 5000.85 – Major Capability Acquisition DODI 5000.75 – Business Systems Acquisition DODI 5000.74 – Defense Acquisition of Services Certified SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) or equivalent advanced ICAgile certification. 5+ years of experience adapting Agile frameworks to business contexts. Experience with change management, workforce enablement. Experience with metrics governance for operational teams. Experience establishing Agile maturity across government business functions. Deep understanding of organizational change management.
