Welcome to Bosch. Job Description Abstract: The Product Manager is responsible to define, deploy and communicate the product vision and strategy. He/she drives the derivation of the roadmap under consideration of market needs and Product Field abilities. With his/her customer-oriented view, he/she specifies products and features. He/she is responsible to deliver economical and business data, needed for overall product management. He/she manages the product live cycle of assigned products. Tasks: Achievement of product related business targets Ensures that the product business runs (support of e.g. sales, quality, supply chain, product liability, SAS, FAE) Supports definition, deployment and communication of product vision and strategy and derivation of roadmap (aligned with Solution Field vision/roadmap) Definition of product content and prioritization of the program backlog, e.g. definition of customer and product requirements (epics, features) requirements validation at customer as well as eliciting and incorporating feedback prioritization of services and product maintenance (if PF-relevant) ensure product quality Supports definition and approval of project and product content Supports Product Field stakeholder management, e.g. customer and regional interface for assigned products, product / solution representative at customer (via sales) Coordination with other products and solutions (if no solution is available) others (e.g. universities, competitors,..) Supports definition of business models for PF-related products (e.g. license model, upfront financing, non-recurring engineering costs,…) Supports definition and getting approval for budget of product class Manages product life cycle of assigned products (e.g. marketing ramp-up, promotion, phase out) Product Managers align and support the organizational context in the following topics, by providing relevant business information: Resource Planning (short, mid and long term) Competencies development (short, mid and long term) Alignment on strategy Feedback on performance and personal development for assigned associates Support and participation in HR processes and instruments Support and enabling of activities to strengthen skill excellence (e.g. spearing capacity in Solution & Product Fields) Qualifications Advanced domain & business knowledge Excellent networking, presentation and communication skills (both written and spoken). Strong business background, customer focus and experience working in a business-to-business context. Proven experience in interdisciplinary team work and international cooperation. Excellent English and German language skills.
