Description

Lees Brook Academy, part of Archway Learning Trust, is seeking a self-driven, compassionate, and committed Safeguarding Lead to join our dedicated Inclusion Team. This is more than a role-it’s a chance to make a lasting impact in a school that places care, inclusion, and student wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.
Working closely with our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Targeted Support Lead (TSL), and wider Inclusion Team, you’ll be a key figure in shaping a safe and supportive environment for every student. You’ll help embed safeguarding into the culture of the academy, ensuring all staff are empowered with the knowledge and confidence to protect and nurture our diverse cohort.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong working knowledge of CPOMS and safeguarding protocols.
  • Can confidently manage and monitor caseloads, working directly with students and families.
  • Understands the impact of trauma and is skilled in building trust and relationships.
  • Has experience in multi-agency working and can act as a key worker for complex cases.
  • Shares our ambition to shape Lees Brook into an outstanding, inclusive provider of education.

At Lees Brook, we believe in collaboration, continuous professional learning, and the power of community. You’ll benefit from a robust CPL programme and the opportunity to grow within a Trust that’s expanding its reach and impact across the region.
If you’re passionate about safeguarding and ready to lead with empathy, expertise, and purpose-we’d love to hear from you.
For more information, please take a look at our School brochure

In return we can offer:

  • Archway benefits to include shopping discounts and competitions
  • A free and confidential employee assistance programme offering counselling and advice
  • Access to a generous pension scheme
  • Access to discounted travel schemes
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Comprehensive training and support
  • Opportunities to develop new skills and progress your career
  • Eye care voucher scheme
  • Free flu vaccine
  • Access to e-learning and development

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to the satisfactory completion of an enhanced DBS check, Barred List check, the receipt of satisfactory references, online searches and any other statutory checks that are required for the post. We are an equal opportunities employer
