Durrell is looking to recruit an Independent Member for its Audit and Risk Committee with specialist knowledge and expertise in safeguarding. This is a part-time voluntary position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend Audit and Risk Committee meetings which take place quarterly in Jersey, however virtual attendance is permitted.
  • Offer strategic guidance and oversight on Durrell’s global safeguarding provision, ensuring we maintain compliance with best practice principles.
  • Offer ad-hoc advice to Durrell’s Safeguarding Operational Group on complex cases and/or complex operating environments (notice given).
