About the Team: The Safer Community function sits within the Student Complaints and Integrity Office and provides specialist expertise in behavioural risk triage, disclosure response and early intervention. The team works closely with the Integrity Office, Counselling and Wellbeing, Security, People & Culture, Legal Services and Colleges to ensure consistent, trauma-informed and proportionate responses to safety concerns across the University. About the Role: The Safer Community Advisor plays a critical role in receiving and responding to disclosures of inappropriate, concerning or threatening behaviour. You will apply trauma-informed practice, structured risk assessment and sound judgement to determine appropriate pathways, including referral to misconduct processes, wellbeing services or external agencies. The role contributes to the development of Safer Community frameworks, supports institutional decision-making, and plays a key part in ensuring safe, consistent and procedurally fair responses across the University.
