Be part of the team that’s up for the challenge of transforming lives for good.About The Project   John Holland has been selected by the NSW Government to deliver Enabling Works for Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2, including a public and active transport bridge linking Wentworth Point and Melrose Park across the Parramatta River.  The new bridge will connect communities on the north and south of the river, and will feature an innovative, long-span cast in situ balanced cantilever design. The design means the bridge will only have two piers in the river, minimising disruption to boats and other waterway users and protecting the sensitive marine environment.   The enabling works cover 1.3km, including the bridge and approaches on either side of the river.   This is the first critical stage of works for the light rail extension which, when complete, will connect communities on the Olympic Peninsula with Greater Parramatta.   About The Role   We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to join our Safety team on the Enabling Works for Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2. This role is site based and supports the delivery of critical safety documentation, compliance tracking, and administrative coordination across our rail safety and construction teams.   Responsibilities of the role include / What you will do;   Manage and review documentation associated with the onboarding of mobile plant (on the job training will be provided).Coordinate the facilitation of project inductionsBook external training when/as requiredTake meeting minutes as required (WHS committee meetings)Maintain and update safety documentation, registers, and compliance records.Support coordination of Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) testing in line with monthly rail safety requirements Assist in preparing and distributing safety communications, toolbox talks, and audit schedules.Liaise with subcontractors and site teams to ensure timely submission of safety forms and reports.Provide administrative support for incident reporting and investigation documentation.Champion John Holland’s safety values and contribute to a positive safety culture    To be successful in this key role, you must have / What we are looking for;   Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Familiarity with WHS legislation and rail safety protocols is desirableExperience in managing RIW and/or 3DS is desirablePrevious experience in safety administration or site-based project support (construction or infrastructure) preferred .We Offer   We're about connecting your sense of purpose to ours.
