Description The Safety and Compliance Manager cultivates an environment of corporate well-being, through the development and implementation of behavior-based safety practices. This position ensures compliance of health and safety policies, processes, and protocol. · Work closely with senior management team to cultivate the Prairie Field Services safety culture · Provide environmental, health, and safety leadership and direction to every level within the organization · Serve as the corporate subject matter expert with regulatory agencies, as well as external customers and internal teams and individuals · Ensure compliance with all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures related to work performed for Prairie Field Services · Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to governing agencies · Recommend solutions to safety issues, improvement opportunities and/or additional prevention measures · Responsible for all incident investigation and documentation, including root-cause analysis · Responsible for the IVMS System including reporting · Responsible for co-managing the Workers Compensation program with the HR Manager · Provide leadership and training to Operations and Shop employees to ensure that the corporate safety mission is evident at all times · Responsible for internal and/or external communications on all health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics as needed Requirements · 10+ years environmental, health and safety experience, oil field experience preferred · Knowledge of local, state, and federal government safety requirements and reporting · Experience and knowledge of DOT, ISNetworld, H2S and Safeland · Proficiency in MS Office · Ability to travel to our remote locations (New Mexico, Utah) · Dedicated time in the field is a must · Attention to detail and ability to manage varied tasks at the same time · Team player and collaborates well with others
