Responsibilities:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the St Vincents Health Network Sydney.
The Safety and Quality lead- will support one or more Clinical Streams to ensure effective clinical governance. The role will work with the Stream Director(s) and Managers to develop and implement improvements, and ensure alignment of quality activities and policies aligned with the National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards.
The Safety and Quality lead will lead high-level clinical incident investigations such as Serious Adverse Event Reviews and have a baseline understanding of incident management.
The Safety and Quality lead will support executive level led committees that are accountable and responsible for driving improvement in patient safety and quality. The Safety and Quality lead is responsible for leading activities to support attainment of organisational KPI’s within their portfolio of work. The Safety and Quality lead will be responsible for developing and maintaining systems to monitor the effectiveness of their Safety and quality portfolio and providing education and support to stakeholders across the facility to engage with this system as appropriate for their roles.
