As the Safety and Risk Manager at HMP Bronzefield, you will be at the forefront of creating a safe and secure environment for staff and residents in the largest female prison in Europe. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will act as the key advisor on health and safety matters, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies while driving a culture of safety throughout the establishment.
Your role will include overseeing accident and incident reporting processes, conducting thorough investigations, and implementing effective resolutions. You’ll analyse data to identify trends, manage audits under pressure, and devise action plans to mitigate risks. A significant part of your responsibility will involve providing constructive feedback at all levels, ensuring a consultative and proactive approach to risk management.
