We’re looking for a passionate, tech-savvy individual to join our Safety & Security team. This is not your typical security guard role - it’s a dynamic position where every day is different, and you’ll play a key part in maintaining the safety and wellbeing of our colleagues and guests. The role As a Safety & Security Officer, you’ll: * Manage and monitor the hotel’s safety and security functions, ensuring a safe environment for guests and colleagues. * Support the implementation of the hotel’s Health & Safety programme, ensuring compliance with workplace standards and procedures. * Educate colleagues and managers on safety, security, and emergency procedures. * Conduct regular property patrols and respond to incidents as they occur. * Manage CCTV systems and assist with investigations. * Escort colleagues to the staff carpark during late shifts. About you * Strong communication and problem-solving skills. * Confident using technology and completing reports. * Hold a current Certificate of Approval (COA) from the Department of Justice or be in the process of obtaining one. * Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. * Available to work on a rotating roster across 7 days, including morning, evening, and overnight shifts. * Previous security or law enforcement experience is an advantage but not required. * Professional grooming and presentation are essential.
