Who We Are: Entain Australia & New Zealand is fearlessly transforming the racing, sports, and wagering industry, delivering unforgettable customer experiences and pushing beyond traditional boundaries. As part of a global powerhouse operating in over 40 countries with nearly 30,000 people, we’re home to leading ANZ brands like TAB, Trackside, and Ladbrokes. Your Impact: As our Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner, you’ll oversee HSWB strategy across Entain ANZ, with NZ as the primary focus. You’ll work with leaders to embed practical safety and wellbeing practices, advise on incidents and contractor risk, and deliver programs that make a real impact for employees. This highly visible role offers exposure to cross-functional projects, governance forums, and strategic initiatives, as well as opportunities to coach teams, build capability, and shape business-wide safety culture. Shape safe, smooth, and effective workplace operations while growing your career in safety, wellbeing, and operational leadership. A Day in the Life: Flexible hybrid work: Collaborate in-office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with flexibility to work from home the rest of the week. While mainly standard hours, you’ll need the flexibility to support critical business needs after-hours or weekends, and travel across New Zealand to connect with teams and sites. Here’s a snapshot of your day: Turn HSW strategy into action and deliver business-wide safety initiatives. Lead risk and incident management, including investigations and injury prevention. Ensure contractor safety, induction, and compliance across all sites. Build leader capability with coaching, training, and practical tools for ownership. Support wellbeing and psychosocial programs that protect and engage employees. Analyse HSW data and insights to improve systems, processes, and compliance. Your Strengths: Health & safety experience with a relevant qualification (Level 6 or higher). Strong knowledge of HSWA, regulations, and codes of practice. Skilled in managing contractor safety, audit delivery, and injury escalation. Experience investigating incidents, mentoring leaders, and lifting safety culture. Confident with HSWB systems, reporting, and wellbeing program design. Collaborative communicator who engages stakeholders at all levels.
