Supportive collaborative environment that celebrates diversity and belonging Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role As our Safety and Wellbeing Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in keeping our people safe and supported. You’ll be the driving force behind the smooth day-to-day operations of the Safety and Wellbeing team - ensuring our processes run efficiently, incidents and hazards are expertly managed, compliance standards are met, and staff receive the right support when incidents occur. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with a passionate team dedicated to fostering a positive safety culture across the University, helping us create a workplace where everyone can thrive - physically, mentally, and emotionally. The salary for this position ranges from $71,275 to $84,695 per year (pro rata), depending on the skills, knowledge, and experience you bring. This is a full-time, fixed-term role (37.5 hours per week) for 12 months to cover maternity leave, ideally commencing in December/early January. The position is based at our Hillcrest Campus, with occasional travel to our Tauranga Campus as required. For more information on the role please see the position description.
