Seeking an HSSE / Subchapter M advisor to deal with vessel, company and personnel safety matters. 1-3 Years safety experience desired but not necessary. Position involves minimal travel and is a great platform to get in-depth maritime safety experience, specifically within the Tug and Barge industry. US Coast Guard safety/compliance/inspections background a plus.

• Track, coordinate and process vessel certifications and documentation
• Coordinate Training and license upgrades/renewals
• Serve as Representative and Assistant Designated Person Ashore
• Accident/Near Miss reporting, filing and follow-up
• Subchapter M compliance and auditing
• Serve as liaison between regulatory agencies and management
• Update manuals as needed or recommended by regulatory agencies

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
