Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Safety Business Partner, you will be at the forefront of shaping and embedding safety culture across our operations. This is more than a compliance role-it’s an opportunity to influence, educate and support continuous improvement in workplace safety. You’ll work closely with site leadership, operational teams, and Health & Safety Representatives, ensuring that safety is integrated into every aspect of our business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with leaders to develop, implement, and enhance site safety plans and risk management strategies.
  • Identify local safety improvement opportunities and coach site leadership on best practices.
  • Lead or facilitate incident investigations, operational risk assessments, and audits.
  • Support the implementation of Lineage’s Safety Framework, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and legislation.
  • Develop, implement, and embed safe systems of work, including SOPs and risk assessments.
  • Promote the prompt reporting of incidents and hazards, supporting continuous learning and proactive risk management.
  • Support Safety and Compliance Culture Programs and provide training, coaching and mentoring to leaders and frontline employees.
  • Support injury management and contribute to state, country, and APAC-wide safety initiatives.
  • Maintain safety records, analyse safety data, and provide insights to drive proactive safety improvements.
