ARE YOU OUR NEXT SAFETY CASE AND TECHNICAL COORDINATOR ?

DOF is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Safety Case and Technical Coordinator to join our team in Perth.
This role will be based in Perth, Australia and report to the HSEQ Manager - Asia Pacific. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity and requires an immediate start.

As the Safety Case and Technical Coordinator you will provide guidance and support to DOF personnel with regards to assurance and control activities relating to the development and implementation of regulatory requirements such to ensure continuous, safe and sustainable company operations within the region in order to contribute to the reduction in risks to the health and safety of the workforce on the offshore facilities or connected activities. Your role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the development of Vessel Safety cases.
  • Review proposed work scopes and report on potential safety case impact.
  • Deliver Safety Cases in accordance to company and legislative requirements
  • Develop systems to effectively capture safety case requirement and communicate to relevant internal and external
  • stakeholders
  • Development of Performance standards as required by the Safety Case
  • Set up systems to audit and monitor the requirements as set out within the Safety Case and performance standards
  • Provide guidance, information and training on Safety Cases.
  • Ensure requirements of Safety Critical equipment is monitored and maintained.
  • Ensure requirements of Safety Critical procedures are developed, monitored and maintained.
  • Liaise and work with regulatory bodies on SC requirements and submissions

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5-10 years within Australian offshore oil & gas.
  • Experience in developing Facility safety Cases (vessels) within the Australian Offshore Oil and Gas industry.
  • Previous experience working in engineering and maintenance in the oil and gas industry is essential.
  • Relevant Engineering / Naval architecture degree; Marine (Mariner (Master / Chief Engineer / Chief Officer) or; Risk
  • Management / OH&S qualifications.
  • Experience in Hazard and Effects management processes.
  • Experience working on large scale projects.
  • Exceptional understanding of Offshore Australian legislation.
  • Sound knowledge of international standards and codes (marine and oil & gas).
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills essential.
  • Presentation, Facilitation and Coaching skills.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Experience with Bowtie XP.
