Description

An opportunity has arisen to work within a developing Safety, Compliance and Sustainability Department of a well-established manufacturing company. Grangers International Ltd, based in Derbyshire and established in 1937, is the owner of market-leading aftercare brands; Grangers, Fabsil and Cherry Blossom.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least three years’ experience in a H&S, compliance and sustainability role.
  • Ideally have a NEBOSH certification
  • Computer literacy – MS Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Excellent communication
  • A willingness to learn and support the wider business with development and regulatory requirements.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Reporting into the Technical Director, this role is ideal for someone who is experienced in a safety, compliance and Sustainability environment looking for a long-term developing role. With a passion for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all personnel on site, regulatory and auditing processes this is a diverse role with an opportunity to make a difference in a fast-paced and growing business.
The chosen candidate will also work closely with the R&D team, as well supporting the wider business and customers with compliance and health and safety queries.

The individual will work closely with all teams across the business including Production, Purchasing, Product, Marketing and Sales.

  • Full time (Monday to Friday)
  • Office-based with some opportunities to work from home when relevant
  • Occasional travel may be required to visit customers and distribution partners
  • Opportunity to develop skills base through funded courses and training software
  • Salary: Negotiable and dependent upon experience.
