Position Summary: The Safety Coordinator plays a key role in supporting compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations and promoting a culture of workplace safety. This position is responsible for helping develop and improve safety procedures to minimize risk to employees and company assets while collaborating with team members to ensure safe work practices and a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions Safety Compliance & Audits Conduct field evaluations and safety compliance audits to ensure safety is integrated into daily operations. Complete audits and inspections to verify all worksites are compliant with company HSE policies and OSHA regulations. Monitor and evaluate daily operations and planning procedures to identify risks and improve safety practices. Document safety violations and noncompliance issues for management review and follow-up. Keep inventory of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) on hand when visiting the field. Risk Assessment & Incident Management Analyze accident data, new processes, and equipment for potential safety concerns. Partner with management to conduct accident and incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions. Respond to incidents during both working and non-working hours and participate in alternative weekend callouts as needed. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support incident response. Safety Training & Employee Support Conduct new hire safety orientation for all new hires. Provide safety training for existing employees requiring certification renewals or additional safety instruction. Promote safe work practices and support safety awareness across the organization. Prepare and present materials for safety meetings and trainings. Operational Collaboration Work closely with district-level management to support daily operations and safety initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned.
