You’ll provide day‑to‑day coordination and admin across health, safety, quality, environment and sustainability – from incident and corrective action tracking to reporting, audits, emergency planning, subcontractor checks and health monitoring. This role is ideal for someone who would like to grow into a Safety Advisor role and is keen to complete HSE qualifications. About the role Reporting to the Northland HSQES Manager, you’ll provide high‑quality administration support across health, safety, quality, environment and sustainability (HSQES). You’ll coordinate and administer the day‑to‑day HSQES activity for the Northland office and associated yards/depots, making sure incidents, audits, health monitoring, emergency planning, equipment inspections and subcontractor safety requirements are well managed and clearly reported. We’re looking for someone with Proven HSQES/safety or compliance admin experience Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail Confidence with incident/corrective action systems and Excel‑based reporting Solid MS Office skills and the ability to pick up new systems (e.g. CAMS, CAS, Predict) Knowledge of NZ/AU H&S legislation and ideally ISO standards (45001, 14001, 9001) Experience with injury management/ACC is a bonus Creating, Connecting and caring for the community Our people regularly donate their time to local causes and initiatives, while at a regional and national level we provide financial support, skills and resources to a wide range of organisations that are strengthening our communities.
