EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational health and safety or related field, OR equivalent work experience

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 6 months’ experience in manufacturing health & safety

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

• OSHA laws and regulations
• Worker’s Compensation laws (state-specific)
• Accident investigation procedures
• Safety audit programs for manufacturing
• Global Harmonization System (GHS)
• Continuous Improvement tools

SKILLS:

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
• Ability to read and interpret government regulations
