Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the WSH Manager in identifying and assessing workplace risks.
  • Conduct site safety inspections and enforce compliance with prevailing MOM Safety Acts and Regulations.
  • Organize and support Safety Committee meetings, safety events, and campaigns.
  • Conduct daily toolbox meetings to highlight safety issues and preventive measures.
  • Supervise and address all workplace safety, health, and environmental control matters.
  • Ensure proper documentation, permits, and licenses related to workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance are maintained and up to date.
  • Conduct periodic WSH cross inspections across sites to ensure adherence to government safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Assist in conducting safety training and briefings (e.g., familiarization with standardized Risk Management procedures) for site teams to promote safety awareness and statutory compliance.
  • Identify unsafe acts or practices and take prompt corrective actions to eliminate hazards.
  • Perform any other duties assigned in relation to workplace safety, health, and environmental matters.

Job Requirements

  • Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health (Level B) (Environment, Health, Safety) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in WSH or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to workplace safety, health, and environmental control.
  • Proactive, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team with a high level of initiative.evel of initiative.
