Description As a Safety Coordinator at Cadence McShane Construction, you will play a pivotal role in championing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance across construction projects, while fostering a culture of safety and collaboration. This leadership role involves conducting on-site training, implementing safety programs, and driving operational excellence in adherence to federal, state, and company regulations. Responsibilities: Provide EHS leadership and operational support for project teams to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations. Implement site-level EHS procedures. Conduct and manage safety training and audits. Assist project management in developing a knowledge base for site compliance Collaborate with others on a daily basis to provide EHS solutions. Maintain computerized EHS records. Champion a safety culture throughout job sites. Contribute to the Safety Committee's best practice reports. Facilitate incident investigations and corrective actions. Work closely with Environmental and OSHA agencies. Understand and respond to regulation changes affecting ongoing projects. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field 4+ years’ experience in construction safety OSHA 30-hour training required Key Information: Full-time, in-person role at multiple job sites Valid U.S. Driver’s License and own car required Authorization to work in the U.S. required For 40 years, Cadence McShane Construction Company has been a trusted name in the industry.
