At Christ Panos Foods, safety isn’t just a policy- it is our culture. We are looking for a dedicated Safety Coordinator to join our team. This position supports the implementation of prevention-focused health, safety, environmental (HSE), and security programs during night shift operations. The Safety Coordinator will assist in training, inspections, incident response, and compliance efforts to support Christ Panos Foods overall HSE objectives, with a focus on night shift selectors and warehouse personnel.
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday 8:00pm – 5:00am

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years of safety experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or transportation.
  • OSHA certification preferred.
  • Must be bilingual: English and Spanish

SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence behavior and promote safety culture.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct new hire safety orientation for night shift employees.
  • Conduct APT observations on selectors
  • Conduct Food Safety training
  • Deliver ongoing safety training programs as assigned by the Night Manager.
  • Maintain accurate training records and logs.
  • Perform regular facility inspections to identify and mitigate safety hazards.
  • Monitor equipment for potential failures and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct observations and coaching sessions with high-risk associates.
  • Respond to and investigate workplace incidents, including accidents and injuries.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and development of corrective actions.
  • Maintain incident reports and communicate findings to leadership.
  • Support site management in implementing HSE plans and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain documentation for audits, inspections, and training.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture among night shift employees.
  • Engage associates to follow safe work methods and procedures.
  • Provide supervisor training on root cause analysis and incident prevention.
  • Other duties as assigned
