Job Summary: The Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting, administering, and coordinating the environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) program across assigned sites. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. The Safety Coordinator will serve as a resource for site leadership and employees, helping to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all. Roles and Responsibilities: · Serve as the primary EH&S resource across assigned sites, providing guidance and support as needed. · Assist in identifying potential safety, health, and environmental hazards; collaborate with the EHS Manager to implement training and improvement initiatives aimed at reducing risk. · Participate in and support site safety meetings, ensuring proper documentation and attendance records are maintained. · Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations; communicate updates and changes to site leadership. · Conduct routine site inspections and audits, documenting findings and working with appropriate stakeholders to implement corrective actions. · Ensure all safety policies and procedures are in place and consistently followed by all team members. · Provide guidance and support to the site Safety Committee on all health and safety-related matters. · Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents, helping to identify root causes and develop corrective action plans. · Partner with the EH&S Manager to ensure all safety training and retraining is effectively delivered and tracked. · Support the implementation of corporate safety initiatives, including safety action plans and business objectives. · Contribute to the development and communication of safety messages and safe work practices throughout the organization. Additional Responsibilities: · Actively participate in cross-functional team initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. · Support employee onboarding by facilitating safety training sessions and workshops. · Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports as required. · Attend and actively participate in required meetings, trainings, and other assigned activities. · Other duties as assigned Requirements Qualifications/Requirements: · Strong knowledge of applicable federal and state OSHA regulations. · High attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving skills. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Strong organizational and time management abilities. · Ability to work collaboratively and foster teamwork across departments. · Skilled in facilitating meetings and safety discussions. · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with data management systems is a plus.
