We’re now looking for a Safety Coordinator – Heavy Vehicles who thrives on structure, accuracy and continuous improvement, and who wants to play a critical role in strengthening transport safety and compliance across our national network. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the go-to expert for compliance platforms, reporting and system integration, and who takes pride in enabling others to operate safely, compliantly and confidently. With a national remit, this role can be based from anywhere in our national network. What You’ll Be Known For Reporting to the Safety and Compliance Manager – Heavy Vehicles, you’ll be at the centre of how Lineage manages transport compliance systems and data nationally. Your work will underpin informed decision-making and defensible compliance outcomes. You will: Own and manage transport compliance platforms — ensuring systems are accurate, integrated, and fit for purpose. Act as the primary point of contact for IT platform providers, resolving issues and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Manage user access, profiles, and permissions across compliance and safety systems. Produce accurate and timely reporting, including NHVR reporting, internal compliance dashboards, and weighbridge breach reporting. Maintain clear system documentation, operating manuals, and user guides so systems are easy to use and consistently applied. Champion standardisation and continuous improvement, identifying smarter ways to capture, integrate, and use compliance data. Support training and capability uplift, working closely with the Safety Business Partner – Heavy Vehicles on system-related learning and materials. Reinforce and promote a proactive safety and compliance culture, encouraging accurate reporting and best practice. What You’ll Bring You’re detail-driven, system-savvy and passionate about compliance done well. You understand the transport environment and appreciate how efficient systems enable safe outcomes. Key experience and capabilities include: Experience in a transport, logistics or 3PL environment Practical working knowledge of HVNL, NHVL, and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) Hands-on experience with transport compliance systems, such as telematics, fatigue, or monitoring platforms (e.g. Seeing Eye / Guardian) Proven ability to extract, interpret, and present data from compliance, TMS, or operational systems Proficient IT skills (Excel, reporting tools, document control) Excellent organisation, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills A proactive, solution-focused approach with high attention to detail Why This Role Matters This role is a cornerstone of Lineage’s Heavy Vehicle safety and compliance capability.
