EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: SAFETY COORDINATOR

Based in Lloydminster, Ab, this role involves regular travel to our cardlock facilities and customer sites throughout the region. As a key member of our team, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving a culture of safety excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting operational teams in safe handling and transporting fuel products. POSITION SUMMARY

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture across all areas of the bulk fuel operation, including transportation, storage and handling of hazardous materials. This role ensures compliance with all applicable provincial and federal regulations, conducts inspections and audits, participates in incident investigations and delivers safety training to staff. The Safety Coordinator is expected to work both in the office and field, require strong organizational skills, regulatory knowledge. A proactive, hands-on approach to safety leadership is essential.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety role.
• Strong communication skills, capable of leading safety sessions and engaging with field staff.
• Experience using safety management software (e.g. Bistrainer, Complyworks, ISNetworld, Avetta)
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance.
• Excellent organizational and auditing skills, with attention to detail in documentations and reporting.
