Job Title: Construction Safety Manager Location: Houston, TX Salary: $35/hr Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Safety Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of safety coordinator experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on ensuring workplace safety through proactive hazard identification, compliance with OSHA regulations, and continuous improvement of safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct regular safety inspections of construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA standards. * Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and procedures to prevent accidents and promote a culture of safety. * Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, and incident reports. * Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions. * Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to promote safe work practices. * Ensure all workers are equipped with necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and are following safety guidelines. * Stay up to date with OSHA regulations and industry safety best practices, and provide guidance to management on changes to regulatory requirements. Qualifications: * OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification is required.
