REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • Ability to travel internationally for 1-3 weeks at a time
  • Current clearance or ability to obtain/maintain one
  • Exceptional people and communication skills – including building rapport, working with employees from other cultures, working with employees at various experience levels
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office including Outlook for emails and tasks scheduling, Excel for spreadsheets and metric tracking, etc.
  • Able to perform at a high level with minimal supervision
  • Must possess a detailed understanding of large, heavy, complex construction processes
  • OSHA 500 training
  • High School/GED
  • 10 years of construction safety management experience
  • CHST preferred
  • Experience working at an international jobsite preferred

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement and direct the safety program for Caddell’s international projects, incorporating key areas of Caddell’s Corporate Safety program as applicable
  • Inspire and motivate all Caddell employees to embrace and achieve the highest safety performance
  • Act as a resource for international field employees, technical coordinators, and other personnel at office locations
  • Provide specialized safety training for corporate and field personnel
  • Manage corporate regulatory documents and assists in the management of workers compensation claims
  • Visit job sites regularly for the purpose of safety audits
  • Tracks all safety metrics for trends that should be address to reduce incidents or enhance effective outcomes
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for OSHA on all projects
  • Stays current with changes to safety regulations
  • Working Conditions – Some work performed in a controlled indoor environment as well as frequent job site visits and is subject to hot, cold, humid and wet conditions depending on location.
