We are seeking a Junior Safety Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a safety engineer to monitor both operations and capital projects to ensure work is being performed in accordance with the Client’s safety policies and OSHA regulations. This role requires the safety engineer to be onsite full time (Mon – Fri) during normal working hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Accreditation from a safety program (e.g. OSHA, University Degree in Safety, etc.)
  • Proven experience in safety engineering, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively in both operations of an existing facility and construction projects within the facility.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to convey safety protocols clearly and concisely.
  • Willingness and ability to work onsite during the construction phase, ensuring hands-on management of safety standards.
Responsibilities
  • Review and understand Clients internal safety policies and procedures.
  • Understand and enforce safety regulations define by OSHA requirements.
  • Ensure operators, maintenance, and contractor personnel are adhering to the safety policies of the company.
  • Monitor and enforce safety standards to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct thorough safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.
