Key Responsibilities: Implement and monitor EHS / Safety policies at project sites. Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company safety guidelines. Identify potential hazards and recommend preventive and corrective actions. Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training programs for employees and contractors. Monitor usage of PPE and ensure adherence to safe work practices. Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to ensure safe execution of work. Maintain safety documentation, permits, and statutory registers. Liaise with clients and auditors during safety inspections and audits. Required Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of EHS standards and site safety practices. Experience working on construction / project / industrial sites. Good understanding of work permits, risk assessments, and emergency procedures. Ability to conduct safety training and awareness programs. Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma / Degree in Safety / Engineering or relevant discipline. Mandatory Safety Certification (NEBOSH / IOSH / ADIS or equivalent). 3–6 years of relevant experience as a Safety Officer on project sites.
