REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• 2-7 years: Experience in managing environmental programs and initiatives.
• 1-7 years: Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
• 1-7 years: In-depth knowledge of local and federal environmental regulations (e.g., TCEQ, EPA).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE:

• Manage and enhance environmental programs.
• Ensure the Division’s activities are performed sustainably and in compliance with environmental regulations

DAILY AND MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform environmental impact assessments for projects.
• Develop and implement conservation and sustainability initiatives.
• Serve as lead resource for Division’s ISO 14001 program.
• Oversee waste disposal and recycling programs.
• Coordinate environmental spill response and cleanup procedures.
• Conduct internal audits and inspections pertaining to compliance with environmental regulations.
