Description

Job Title: Construction Safety Program Manager
Location: Boulder CO. This role is not a remote position and will be working on the construction site.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working on large-scale CAPEX industrial projects across various disciplines (e.g., heavy civil, structural, mechanical, electrical).
  • Familiarity with process equipment and commissioning activities.
  • 5-years of experience preferred in safety-related roles, including oversight or management of safety programs.
  • Safety certifications or formal safety training are preferred (e.g., OSHA 30, CSP, CHST, or equivalent).

Physical Requirements:

  • Working at a variety of heights
  • Climbing stairs and ladders
  • Bending
  • Stooping
  • Working outdoors in a broad range of climate conditions
  • Working around construction machinery

Travel: Working on site in Boulder, CO.
Salary: $50,000 - $85,000 per year depending on experience level

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Understand and ensure adherence to all expected safety processes and procedures related to construction and site operations.
  • Engage directly in the field with construction and operations teams to enforce compliance with safety programs, including:
  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
  • Hot Work Permitting
  • Fall Protection
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Safe Job Planning and Execution
  • Etc…
  • Mentor and coach field personnel on safe work practices in alignment with safety programs and industry best practices.
  • Identify and correct unsafe conditions or behaviors observed in the field.
  • Escalate safety issues and report unsafe practices through proper channels.
  • Collaborate with site and project personnel to investigate safety incidents.
  • Actively participate in safety improvement initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
