Company Description We are hiring for the position of Safety Head for multiple upcoming projects across Pan India. This role involves leading and managing all aspects of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices for large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing safety protocols, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and fostering a culture of safety across construction sites. Job Description Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and plans for large infrastructure projects. Lead the safety team to ensure effective implementation of safety measures across all project sites. Act as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters, ensuring alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with local and international safety standards, such as OSHA, NEBOSH, and IS codes. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks. Maintain proper documentation of safety records, incident reports, and compliance checklists. Conduct detailed risk assessments for all construction activities, identifying potential hazards and implementing mitigation strategies. Monitor high-risk activities, such as working at heights, heavy equipment operations, and confined spaces, to ensure adherence to safety protocols. Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions. Develop and conduct safety training programs for workers, supervisors, and contractors. Organize toolbox talks, safety drills, and awareness campaigns to promote a culture of safety on-site. Ensure all personnel are aware of emergency response procedures and evacuation plans. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate safety measures into construction activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field (mandatory). Master’s degree in Safety Management or Construction Management (preferred). Additional Information Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent). Experience in managing safety for live environments, such as operational airports or malls. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a culture of safety.
