Description
Support the Plant Manager to ensure the compliance of law and company regulations and internal policies in terms of Health, Safety & Environment Develop and implement SHE strategies, procedures, and training programs. Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate hazards and lead incident investigations and ensure root cause analysis and follow-up actions. Work together with the manager and cross-functional teams to analyze non-compliances, near-miss, accidents and injuries in order to reach company's improvement objectives. Manage contacts with suppliers (PPE suppliers, waste disposal services, etc.). Monitor and report on SHE performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement. YOU BRING Master's degree in SHE Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or Preventive Health Professions. At least 5 years of experience working with SHE management systems and audit processes in the chemical, food, or pharmaceutical industry. Broad understanding of multiple areas, such as manufacturing (raw materials, processes, ingredients, flavors), laboratories, operations, and supply chain processes. Strong knowledge of SHE regulations and standards, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, GMP, and HACCP. Additional qualifications in food safety or industrial hygiene, such as NEBOSH National General Certificate (minimum) or IOSH, are highly desirable. High attention to detail, with a proactive and results-oriented approach with focus at continuous improvement Excellent skills in communication, training delivery, and report writing Fluency in both Italian and English
